Participatory camping :discover the Ardèche in a natural way !
Participatory camping is above all a unique tourist experience, an encounter with a place, its owner and a local population.
Connected to nature, Camping Sites & Paysages Le Petit Bois offers you an experience “to live” based on authenticity and sharing, in the respect of the values of participative tourism.
How do we do participatory camping in the Ardèche?
Participatory camping is the pleasure of sharing! As soon as you arrive, Patrick, the owner, will be the ambassador of your Ardèche vacations! Passionate about his region and in love with the local natural and cultural heritage, he will be able to guide you through personalized proposals for discovering the Southern Ardèche.
Participatory camping means discovering the region as close to nature as possible! In a mobile home, tent, caravan or camper, you will stay in the heart of preserved landscapes and near the most important tourist sites of the Ardèche. Every week during the summer, Patrick organizes discovery walks in the Cirque de Gens, the Défilés de Ruoms and the hiking trails that dot the southern Ardèche, through beaches and natural rivers, garrigue landscapes and steep cliffs…
The participative camping, it is numerous activities and varied animations in connection with the specificities of the Ardèche. Moments of sharing to find yourself and your loved ones during a vacation under the sign of joy and good humor, between simplicity and conviviality!
Participatory camping is a way to meet local traditions and lands. By visiting, for example, an Ardèche vineyard. Your vacation will take you to Balazuc, to the Domaine des Louanes where you will be welcomed as a friend by the owner!
Pat’s walks
The People’s Circus
Discover one of Pat’s walks: the Cirque de Gens, balanced between water and rock…
Grandiose, the cirque of Gens offers, from its heights, the always renewed spectacle of the high cliffs and the river winding at its feet. The promise of a refreshing swim as well.
The aerial cornices of the cirque of Gens… The title of the hike makes you dream, and easily you imagine yourself on the edge of the cliff as suspended above the void, the Ardèche below…
To discover with Pat without delay by ways out of the beaten track
La Font Vive
Vauclusian type of resurgence at the foot of the village “le chastelas”” now in ruins. Its clear and deep waters of 9 to 10 meters are surrounded by an oasis of greenery. Very quiet and restful place.
It is by the schoolchildren’s path that this hike leads you to the site of Font Vive, an emerald-colored resurgent spring located at only 2 km from the village of Grospierres in South Ardèche. For the connoisseurs, this resurgence is reminiscent of the one in Fontaine-de-Vaucluse. After more than two hours of walking, the spectacle of this limpid water, surrounded by an oasis of greenery, in the middle of a landscape of scrubland, is appreciated all the more.
